BIOSKETCH
Kofi is a Health Economist in the Discipline of Public Health Medicine, University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). His research focuses on the application of economics to analyze health issues: healthcare financing, economic burden of diseases, economic evaluations, and fiscal policies for health. Prior to joining UKZN, he was involved in obesity prevention research at the Wits Centre for Health Economics and Decision Science – PRICELESS SA which is based at Wits University. Some of Kofi’s works have appeared in reputed journals like Global Health Action, BMJ Open, and BMJ Global Health.
