BIOSKETCH
I am a senior lecturer and Health Promotion expert in the Discipline of Public Health Medicine. I am a convener of the Principles and Practices of Public Health, a module offered to first-year MPH students. My other duties include teaching health promotion, supervising Masters and PhD students, research and community engagement. I have served as an examiner of Master’s degree dissertations in various South African institutions. I am a co-investigator on a 3-year study conducted by the South African Medical Research Council, Gender and Health Unit.  Study title: adaptation and impact evaluation of combined sexual violence and mental health Interventions for Female and LGBTQI women Students in South African Higher education Institutions.
